England vs Australia prediction

For many years, Australia have been the gold standard when it comes to international Rugby League, whether it be the men’s or women’s game. Everywhere you look among the Aussie squad are world class players, the very best of the sport whether it be Nathan Cleary, or captain Isaah Yeo. The slick nature of their play, the speed mixed with power and aggression is a joy to watch and England will have to be perfect to get the better of them.

Playing at Wembley in front of what will no doubt be a partisan home crowd should serve as somewhat of a leveller for England, who boast many of Super League’s best players among their squad such as Mikey Lewis and Jack Welsby. Wane is an excellent coach and will have no doubt devised a strong gameplan that will give his players the best chance. Ultimately though, Australia should prove simply too good and take game one.

England vs Australia tip: Australia to win with -12.5 handicap
