England vs Australia prediction

Not since 2022 have England beaten one of the top southern hemisphere rugby nations, so they will be determined to begin their end-of-year commitments with a statement win in Twickenham.

Having not won a Six Nations title since 2020 though, there are serious questions surrounding whether they are genuine World Cup contenders ahead of 2027’s showpiece event in Australia.

And Australia is exactly who they face this weekend, with the Wallabies hoping to build upon a Rugby Championship campaign that contained real promise, with Joe Schmidt’s side improving considerably upon their 2024 effort.

England have won their last seven games though, including a series victory against Argentina this year, and victory in this match would be the next step they need to make.

Australia are missing one or two key players for this match, and England are capable of taking full advantage on home turf. These are two evenly-matched sides who are looking to continue recent improvements, and we think the hosts will shade it.
