Emma Raducanu vs Rebecca Sramkova prediction
Emma Raducanu got her grass court season off to a flying start as she demolished Cristina Bucsa in the first-round. The Brit needed just an hour and five minutes on court to breeze past the world number 112, winning 6-1 6-2. Raducanu can return to British number one if she manages to better Katie Boulter’s result this week.
Rebecca Sramkova will be a step up in the round-of-16. She picked up a fine win in the last round, defeating defending Wimbledon champion Barbora Krejcikova 6-4 6-3. Though Krejcikova is still on her way back from an injury which has stopped her from playing for most of the season so far, it was an encouraging performance from Sramkova on a surface she does not usually thrive on.
Raducanu has the much better record on grass overall and looked completely at ease during her first-round encounter. If she can carry that form with her for this match, we expect the Brit to come through in straight sets once again.
