Emma Raducanu vs Kamilla Rakhimova prediction
Emma Raducanu advanced to a second successive quarter-final at Queen’s Club as she produced a fine display to defeat Sorana Cirstea in straight sets. Cirstea had beaten Raducanu in the Transylvania Open final earlier this season, but it was the British number one that made the stronger start as she broke twice to go 3-0 up. Raducanu gave up one of the breaks and needed to save a break point when serving for the set at 5-4, but she would take the lead. She raced clear in the second set to win 6-4 6-2.
She will now play Kamilla Rakhimova in the next round. Rakhimova required three sets to get past British wildcard Harriet Dart. She failed to serve out the match at 5-4 in the deciding set, but Dart gifted the break back once more and she made no mistake at the second attempt. The lucky loser is through to her first quarter-final of the season.
Raducanu has generated some momentum at the start of this grass court season, and she will be a heavy favourite to get past Rakhimova.
