The Brit ended 2025 on a losing streak of three matches and was also beaten by Maria Sakkari in the United Cup last week. 

The world number 29’s preparations were hampered by injury but she will bid to kick on here as she opens as top seed against Camila Osorio. 

The Colombian is also on a three-match winless run after falling to a narrow loss in her opener in Brisbane. 

They have met once before with Raducanu claiming a 7-6 7-6 success in Washington back in 2024.

The Brit will be expecting a real fight again, but does sit 47 places above the South American on the WTA ladder and if she is fully fit, she has more weapons and quality overall.
