Boisson produced one of the shocks of the first round as the world number 361 defeated 24th seed Elise Mertens.

Her compatriot Elsa Jacquemot also grabbed some headlines with an impressive win over Maria Sakkari and they both backed it up in the second round to tee up a showdown that will be sure to catch the imagination of the home crowd.
