Roman Andres Burruchaga comes into this one on the back of a 6-3, 6-1 loss to Vit Kopriva in the round of 16 of the Rio Open last week. He was left frustrated with a hard-fought three-set 36-game defeat to compatriot Tomas Martin Etcheverry at the Argentina Open earlier this month.
