Elmer Moller vs Frances Tiafoe prediction

Elmer Moller last competed a few weeks ago on the Challenger Tour in Lyon, losing in the first-round. The Dane, who made his Grand Slam debut just last month at the French Open, will be playing his first ever tour-level match on grass in the first-round here.

Frances Tiafoe will be his opponent. Tiafoe has competed in just one event on grass and it did not go to plan. He was on the end of a shock defeat to Great Britain’s Dan Evans in the first-round of Queen’s Club, losing in straight sets. Nevertheless, the American performed well in Paris to make the quarter-finals of Roland Garros for the first time and was just a tiebreak away from dumping eventual champion Carlos Alcaraz out of the tournament here last year.

Moller is massively inexperienced on grass and Tiafoe is likely to create opportunities on that serve. We expect a comprehensive Tiafoe win.
