Elisabetta Cocciaretto vs Ann Li prediction

Elisabetta Cocciaretto mounted a superb comeback in the deciding set to beat Xiyu Wang in the round-of-16 at the Guangzhou Open. She took the first set comfortably but her Chinese opponent dominated the second to level the match up. Cocciaretto looked on the verge of an exit at 3-1 down but reeled off five games in a row to win 6-3 2-6 6-3 after two hours and 10 minutes. 

Ann Li will be her opponent in the quarter-finals after the American defeated Camila Osorio. Osorio had won their last two meetings and looked in control at 3-0 in the first set, but Li fought back to edge ahead and then raced clear in the second to win 7-5 6-2. 

Li seems to have found form for the first time since her run to the fourth-round of the US Open. She is the second seed at this event and should have enough quality to get past Cocciaretto.
