Elena Rybakina vs Dayana Yastremska prediction

Elena Rybakina’s route in Montreal so far has been relatively kind but the Kazakh star can expect her toughest test so far as she meets Dayana Yastremska on Saturday.

Rybakina has beaten Hailey Baptiste and Jaqueline Cristian in straight sets so far and she has been impressive in both matches with her serve looking particularly strong.

Yastremska will be fired up to cause an upset here and she will be full of confidence after beating eighth seed Emma Navarro last time out. The 7-5 6-4 win was excellent and she won more of the key points which made the difference in a tight competitive match.

The pair have met once before and that came earlier this year at the Australian Open. Rybakina was the victor that day 6-3 6-4 and we have a feeling that a similar outcome could well be repeated here.

Rybakina is playing exceptionally well and her serve is looking really strong. When she is on this kind of form, she is difficult to oppose against most players and we fancy her chances of progressing.
