Emma Raducanu is already in new territory in Rome having reached the second round with a hard-fought win over Australia’s Maya Joint. 

The British number two is only appearing in the main draw in the Italian capital for the second time but will need to go deep if she’s to have a shot at being seeded for the French Open.
