Ekaterina Alexandrova vs Coco Gauff prediction

Coco Gauff’s push for a second Grand Slam title continues against Ekaterina Alexandrova.

The American showed both sides of her game in securing a first ever win over Marie Bouzkova in the third round in Paris, storming through the first set before digging deep in the second. 

Gauff continues to have some issues on serve and will be hoping to fine-tune ahead of a fifth clash with Alexandrova. 

The Russian 20th seed has matched the American by reaching this stage without dropping at set, but does trail 3-1 in their head-to-head.  

This will be a first meeting on clay and although Alexandrova has been posting some solid results of late, if Gauff conjures up the all-court tennis that she produced in the first part of her win over Bouzkova, she will have too much fire-power and class.

The second seed has had to scrap at times and consistency will be vital, but her will to win should see her avoid any upset even if the serve does wobble.
