Dusan Lajovic vs Yannick Hanfmann prediction
Dusan Lajovic, who has two career titles to his name, heads to Santiago on the back of a round of 16 loss to Matteo Berrettini at the Rio Open in three sets last week. Lajovic isn’t in great nick, having failed to qualify for the Australian Open and then been beaten in the round of 16 at the ATP Challenger Concepcion earlier this month.
Yannick Hanfmann comes into this one on the back of a three-set loss to Juan Manuel Cerundolo in the round of 16 at the Rio Open. The German is also struggling for much form but did manage to get through the first round at the Australian Open before a straight sets loss to Carlos Alcaraz last month.
Hanfmann was fortunate to qualify for that Grand Slam as a result of Benjamin Hassan’s withdrawal but he does remain the slight favourite against the experienced Serb.
Dusan Lajovic vs Yannick Hanfmann tip: Yannick Hanfmann to win & over 2.5 sets
