Donna Vekic vs Emma Raducanu prediction

Donna Vekic reached her first final since the Paris Olympics in 2024 as she ended the hopes of home favourite Katie Boulter at the semi-final stage. Boulter had produced one of the best displays of her career in the previous round as she beat world number two Elena Rybakina. However, she was flat from the start in this match and Vekic took advantage, winning 6-1 6-3. The Croatian only entered the main draw of this event as a lucky loser.

She will face British number one Emma Raducanu after the 23-year-old notched up her second win of the day. Raducanu beat Kamilla Rakhimova earlier on and then easily got past Iva Jovic to advance to her second final of 2026. The 2021 US Open champion was aggressive from the start and maintained her level to win 6-2 6-2.

This is a fabulous opportunity for Raducanu to finally win a first title since her Grand Slam success almost half a decade ago, and she will receive brilliant support from a home crowd. Raducanu is yet to drop a set at the event and if she can carry her form from this week into the match, she will stand an excellent chance of winning.
