Diana Shnaider vs McCartney Kessler prediction

In the first round of this year’s French Open, Diana Shnaider put in an emphatic performance to defeat Renato Zarazua 6-4, 6-1. Shnaider reached a peak of world number 11 around about this time last year and do with some stringing some results together this week.

McCartney Kessler experienced a hard-fought contest in her first round clash against Chinese qualifier Guo Hanyu the other day, winning 6-4, 6-7, 5-7. Kessler has never made it past the second round of a Grand Slam, albeit has hit the second round of both the most recent US and Australian Opens.

Kessler is performing reasonably well and will believe she can worry an opponent who isn’t at her best but Shnaider does remain the favourite here.
