Diana Shnaider outclassed Donna Vekic to set a round of 16 clash with Marketa Vondrousova. 

The Russian continued her fine form from Queens with a 6-2 6-4 win over last year’s Wimbledon semi-finalist but must now oust a former champion to reach the last eight. 

The 2023 winner at the All England Lawn Tennis Club, Vondrousova, showed just how good she can be on grass with an impressive 7-5 7-6 win over Madison Keys. 

This will be their second meeting and the Czech has the edge as she was leading 6-4 1-1 when Shnaider retired earlier this year in Adelaide.
