Diana Shnaider vs Madison Keys prediction
Diana Shnaider recovered from a slow start against Great Britain’s Katie Boulter to win in three sets and book her place in the quarters of Queen’s Club. The Russian managed to create more opportunities on the Boulter serve as the match wore on, winning 2-6 6-3 6-2. She’s into her first quarter-final in the singles since managing the feat at the Adelaide International in early January.
She now takes on Madison Keys for a place in the last four. Keys got her grass court campaign off to a good start with a comfortable 6-3 6-2 win over Anastasia Zaharova. She did go a break down early in the first set but quickly regained her footing.
Keys and Shnaider have played once before, with the American winning in the second-round of the Miami Open last year. The Australian Open champion defeated Shnaider 6-2 6-4. Shnaider may cause more problems on the grass, but we still expect Keys, a very strong all-surface player, to come out on top.
