Former Wimbledon semi-finalist Denis Shapovalov will have his eyes on a strong stint on grass to re-ignite his hopes of breaking back into the world’s top 20.

The Canadian currently sits at 30 on the ATP ladder and has the aggressive, rapid game style that suits playing on the surface.

The 26-year-old is enjoying a solid 2025 so far and will feel he can kick off his grass campaign with a good run in Stuttgart.

Arthur Rinderknech has a big-hitting game style but doesn’t move as well as Shapo and trails 2-1 in the head-to-head.
