Dayana Yastremska vs Magda Linette prediction

Dayana Yastremska booked her spot in a first ever grass court semi-final with an impressive win over Leylah Fernandez.

The Ukrainian beat the fifth seed 6-3 7-6 to make last four of a tournament for the second time this year. 

Yastremska will now meet world number 31 Magda Linette after the Pole shocked second seed Clara Tauson 6-2 7-5.

This will be their sixth showdown with Yastremska leading 4-1 in the head-to-head, including a 6-3 7-5 win in Dubai this year.

The world number 46 also won 6-4 6-3 when they met on grass in Birmingham three years ago.

Linette will be the favourite as the sixth seed, but the match-up clearly favours Yastremska, who has been superb so far this week and gets our nod to reach the final.
