Daria Snigur vs Taylah Preston prediction

Daria Snigur produced a fine display in the previous stage after beating two-time Grand Slam finalist Jasmine Paolini in three sets. The Ukrainian was a set and a break down but fought back to win 3-6 7-6 (5) 6-2. She is through to the third-round of a WTA event for the first time in 2026. Snigur also came from a set down to defeat Katarzyna Kawa in her opening match. 

She faces Taylah Preston next. The Australian beat Diane Parry in straight sets. Parry was 5-2 up in the first set, but Preston fought back as she won five of the next six games to take the lead. Preston dominated the second, wrapping up a 7-6 (4) 6-1 victory after one hour and 26 minutes. She also progressed to the quarter-finals of the Korea Open last week.

Snigur is the higher ranked player, but Preston has been very competitive on this surface since the beginning of the Asian swing.
