Daniil Medvedev vs Corentin Moutet prediction

Corentin Moutet gets the chance to exact some instant revenge against Daniil Medvedev. 

The Frenchman lost 7-5 4-6 6-3 to the Russian in the final in Almaty last week and is currently in the form of his life. 

The world number 36 cruised to a 6-3 6-0 victory over Damir Dzumhur and although he trails Medvedev 2-1 in the head-to-head, his victory did come in Washington earlier this year. 

That said, Medvedev has been showing real signs of recovery since his US Open meltdown and played the big moments well in the end in his 6-4 6-7 6-2 first round triumph over Nuno Borges.

Medvedev has more firepower and although Moutet will cause problems - just like he did in Almaty - the sixth seed is handling pressure moments better now and reacting better to setbacks.
