Daniel Evans vs Miomir Kecmanovic prediction

Former Eastbourne quarter-finalist Dan Evans will hope it’s a case of third time lucky against Miomir Kecmanovic.

The Brit has lost his two previous meetings with the Serb, but this will be a first clash on grass. 

Evans showed just how good he can be on the turf with a win over Frances Tiafoe at Queens, but the 35-year-old will have his work cut out against an opponent 10 years his junior here. 

Kecmanovic has reached the last eight at this tournament in each of the past two years and will be keen to defend his points. 

Evo will have the home support and is well capable of pulling off the upset again, but we tend to think Kecmanovic will do more damage with the serve. That's not to say a punt on it going to a decider or risking a flutter on Evans isn't worth it too.
