Cronulla Sharks vs Melbourne Storm prediction

The Cronulla Sharks will once again be put to the test against a quality side and will this time seek answers. The knock on the Sharks has long been that they are unable to beat the top end sides and that test doesn’t come too much harder than the Melbourne Storm.

Cronulla won for the fourth time in five matches with a strong second-half performance powering them to a 30 -14 victory over Manly

The Melbourne Storm bounced back hard from their defeat against the Raiders to put a 64-0 thrashing on the Wests Tigers. Ryan Papenhuyzen came close to the all-time individual point scoring performance in a match by scoring four tries and kicking 10 conversions for an individual tally of 36 points.

The most recent meeting between the two sides was in last year‘s qualifying final where the Melbourne Storm easily handled the sharks by 27 points.

A packed-out home ground for the Sharks may not be enough and we think the Melbourne Storm will be too good again
