THE PREDICTION
At one stage is looked like Sussex were set for an innings defeat against Derbyshire last time out, but a brilliant batting display following on which saw both Tom Haines and Cheteshwar Pujara score double hundred, effectively saved the Sharks. Whilst Sussex’s bowling attack remains questionable, the injection of Pujara and Mohammad Rizwan has significantly shored up the batting and Worcestershire could be in for a frustrating four days as they look to try and take the 20 wickets required to force victory here. With that in mind, consider backing the draw with bat likely to rule over bowl at New Road.
