Neither of these two teams can qualify for the knockout stage, but for Welsh Fire it’s about avoiding the ignominy of a 0-8 record. Unfortunately for them though, it’s difficult to see how this can be avoiding. Their batting has woefully underperformed, whilst the bowling attack has been unable to stem the flow of runs from their opponents.
