- Lauren Winfield-Hill skippers the Northern Supercharges in what could prove an important tournament individually for the Yorkshire batter, who will be desperate to use the Hundred as a springboard to break back into the England T20i side.
- The Superchargers have used their overseas quota to bolster their batting ranks, recruiting India’s Jemimah Rodrigues, South Africa’s Laura Woolvardt and two-time Big Bash League winner Laura Kimmince.
- Spin-bowler Katie Levick has been a star performer over the past year in English domestic cricket and will play a crucial role with the ball, alongside seam bowler Beth Langston.
WELSH FIRE WOMEN
- Plenty of excitement surrounds this Welsh Fire line-up, not least due to the return of one of the best wicketkeepers in the modern game, as former England star Sarah Taylor is set to play for the Cardiff based franchise.
