South Group winners Surrey made it to finals day after beating rivals Kent at the Kia Oval by 56 runs. This was their eighth straight victory in the Vitality Blast and sees them face Gloucestershire in the semi-finals, after the South West based county defeated Northamptonshire Steelbacks by 7 wickets in their quarter-final at Bristol.
THE PREDICTION
Surrey will come into this match as favourites with plenty of big names in their squad such as England limited overs internationals Jason Roy and Reece Topley, not to mention world cup winning bowler Liam Plunkett and South African batting legend Hashim Amla. Gloucestershire though have a tight knit squad with no big names, but plenty of quality T20 players such as all-rounder Benny Howell and wicketkeeper batsman James Bracey. However, the all-round strength of Surrey should prove too much for them here, providing the weather allows any play to be had.
