THE PREDICTION
The Northampton Steelbacks have wasted no time establishing themselves as strong contenders to qualify out of the Central Group, having won two of their first three games. Whilst they top the ground, they meet Birmingham Bears who are currently placed in second having beaten Worcester Rapids yesterday at Blackfinch New Road. Despite that win however, this represents a far harder challenge for the Bears against a side with such strength at the top of the order, led by Irish international opener Paul Stirling. With the likes of wicketkeeper batsman Adam Rossington and captain Josh Cobb also in good form with the bat, the Steelbacks should have enough in the tank with home advantage to defeat the Bears here.
