It has been a dream start to this year’s T20 Blast for Middlesex, who despite being tipped to disappoint in the South Group, have won their opening three matches. However, a trip to Hove represents arguably their biggest challenge so far even if Sussex Sharks have started their tournament slowly. A narrow four-run victory in their most recent home game was backed up by an excellent 47-run triumph away at Somerset and despite losing the services of Mohammad Rizwan, West Indies bowler Obed Mccoy has come in and made an immediate impact, picking up a five-wicket-haul at Taunton. It would be no surprise if the overseas star was to have a major impact again here, making inroads into the Middlesex top order and he may well help lay the foundations for a third consecutive win for Sussex in the Blast.
