It seems a long time since Kent Spitfires lifted the T20 Blast back in 2021. They never recovered from losing the availability of New Zealand fast bowler Adam Milne and struggled badly in 2022, finishing bottom of the South Group. They’ll be hoping for better this year, as will Gloucestershire. Always slightly underrated, the South West county have quietly assembled a decent T20 squad with plenty of dangerous players such as Chris Dent, James Bracey and captain Jack Taylor. Although the Spitfires will likely come into this one as favourites, their bowling doesn’t look the most potent and Gloucestershire may well spring a surprise.
