Gloucestershire are coming off the back of consecutive victories and will be looking to take a third scalp against Somerset, who saw their 100% record finally ended on Wednesday as they narrowly came out the wrong end of a thriller against Hampshire Hawks. A side of Somerset’s quality won’t be kept down for long though and the power among their top order should see them outscore Gloucestershire, who rely more on tight bowling rather than overwhelming their opponents through sheer batting firepower. Therefore, back Somerset to come out the right end of this South West derby.

KENT SPITFIRES vs HAMPSHIRE HAWKS

It’s now five defeats in a row for Kent Spitfires and it’s hard to see where their next win is coming from. Hampshire Hawks won’t be in any mood to give them one, having triumphed in each of their last four matches. A great mixture of youth and experience, not to mention the middle order finally starting to step up and support James Vince at the top of the order. Any outcome other than a Hampshire victory here would be a surprise.

Sussex Sharks are back in action less than 24 hours following their game at Lord’s, this time taking on Surrey at home. The visitors are coming off the back of having racked up 236/2 against Glamorgan in a 65-run victory on Wednesday. With small boundaries at Hove, you’d expect the Surrey batters to cash in against one of the lesser sides in the South Group this season. With momentum also in their favour, back Surrey to make three straight T20 Blast victories.
