The Steelbacks come into this on the back of back-to-back victories over the Leicestershire Foxes and Durham. Despite that decent form, their highest score remains just 173-5 in their last nine matches.
THE PREDICTION
This match is likely to be fairly low-scoring given Lancashire’s inability to consistently hit hard throughout the innings as well as Northamptonshire’s generally low-scoring form since the start of the Blast. Given that Lancs’ have a plethora of spinners, the size of the Old Trafford playing area should give the Red Rose the slight edge in this one.
