THE PREDICTION
Essex Eagles failed to back up their first win of the tournament against Somerset after being bowled out for 142 by Hampshire Hawks and losing by 13 runs at Chelmsford this past Friday. The Eagles’ batting line-up is extremely frail with a long tail and this may prove their undoing once again vs Glamorgan in Cardiff. The Welsh county put in a good account of themselves despite losing by just four runs to Gloucestershire in their first match of the competition. With the likes of Australian Marcus Labuschagne and South African Colin Ingram in the Glamorgan side and Essex Eagles without key batter Dan Lawrence due to international duty, a home victory looks on the cards.
