THE PREDICTION
Essex Eagles suffered a second successive defeat this past Sunday, as Glamorgan secured a comfortable seven wicket victory over Simon Harmer’s side in Cardiff. Sussex Sharks in contrast were triumphant last time out after beating rivals Hampshire by nine wickets thanks to half centuries from Phil Salt and former Eagles all-rounder Ravi Bopara. The fragility of Essex’s batting has been well and truly exposed in their past two games and when combined with their inexperienced bowling attack it doesn’t bode well from them here. Sussex are a far superior T20 outfit and all departments and have to be favoured for a comfortable triumph at Chelmsford.
