Both sides come into this on the back of victories with the Derbyshire Falcons’ win ending a run of underperformance and coming in unusual circumstances whilst Notts look relentless and dangerous. It is clear that the Derbyshire Falcons should have done better this season so far with a shift to T20 focus in Derby in recent seasons yet to bear fruit just yet - and yet, they have the leading run scorer and two of the three joint leading wicket takers in the competition. Despite that, they will come into this as the fairly clear underdogs against a Notts Outlaws side that can be beaten but have so much fire power it is difficult to do so.
