THE LOWDOWN
An impressive top-order of Derbyshire Falcons have been dramatically under-performing throughout the Blast campaign so far. Luis Reece, Billy Godleman, Wayne Madsen and Leus du Plooy should be enough for the Falcons to have collected more than just four points from their opening seven matches. They come up against a Leicestershire Foxes that have also began poorly but did manage to end their losing start to the campaign with a 34-run victory against the Northamptonshire Steelbacks at the weekend. They did lose the opening five matches though.
THE PREDICTION
Leicestershire defeated the only other team yet to win a game in Northants at the weekend and, despite that likely set to give them some confidence, it remains to be seen whether it was because they have immediately improved or it was just the standard of their opposition. In terms of personnel, and the fact that the match is taking place in Derby, the home team should come into this as the favourites.
