THE PREDICTION
Birmingham Bears host Northamptonshire Steelbacks, knowing that if they are to win and give themselves the best chance possible of making it to the quarter-finals, their batting needs to fire. Much will depend on Ed Pollock at the top of the order, whilst Jake Lintott has been very good with the ball throughout the Bears’ Blast campaign. The Steelbacks’ bowling attack is one of the weakest in the South Group and on what should be a very good Edgbaston pitch for batting in baking sunshine, Birmingham Bears should cash in and ultimately secure the win.
