THE PREDICTION
Saurashtra and Services meet in an interesting matchup between two sides that that failed to qualify out of their groups last year but were competitive. Services were in a tough group last season with Baroda and eventual winners Karnataka and they were duly outplayed by both of those teams but they did beat the other four teams in their group. They do not possess a great deal of star talent but they have a really solid core of players with the impressive Ravi Chauhan scoring four fifties in six games last year and a strong bowling unit. They make the trip to face Saurashtra here and the hosts are without their stars Ravindra Jadeja and Cheteshwar Pujara who are on international duty but Jaydev Unadkat will be available. They will need their star bowler to produce some fireworks here if they are to win but it is Services who are marginally favoured and potentially underestimated.
