THE PREDICTION
Neither of these teams were able to progress out of the group stage last season but the Railways were somewhat unfortunate to miss out with their 4-3 record. They failed to progress from a difficult and highly competitive group last year with five teams tied on 16 points but their poor net run rate saw them miss out. They will be led by the experienced Karn Sharma who will be vital with both bat and ball, while they have a solid team throughout to support him. Slow left-arm spinner Harsh Tyagi will be looking to do well once again and they should ultimately have too much all-round quality for Tripura. Expect Railways to get off to an opening victory.
