THE PREDICTION

Mumbai have shown promise in this campaign, but ultimately have leaked far too many runs and have paid the price for it, losing all three of their Group E games thus far. Conceding over 200 runs in two of their three games and picking up just eight wickets over the course of those three matches has proven destructive to their hopes of knockout qualification and here they face a Puducherry side who have struggled themselves in Group E, but have shown signs of promise going forward. Mumbai fans will be hoping to get another glimpse of bowler Arjun Tendulkar, son of Indian cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar. Whilst Mumbai have a penchant to consistently leak runs with the ball, they have at least shown potential with the bat and on a batsman friendly pitch at Wankhede Stadium against an opponent who have struggled batting wise throughout the competition, Mumbai may benefit as a result by edging what should be a close contest here.
