With three crushing defeats from their opening three matches, Mizoram have very much looked out of their depth so far in this year’s Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Losses by ten wickets, 130 runs and 89 runs respectively see them sit firmly bottom of the Plate Group. Nagaland in comparison have recorded victories by nine wickets and 100 runs after their first match was abandoned. With Nagaland currently on song with both bat and ball, they should have far too much quality within their side for Mizoram to deal with and anything less than a comprehensive Nagaland victory in this match would prove a big surprise.
