THE PREDICTION

Neither of these two sides can qualify for the knockout stage of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy with just one win in Group C between the two teams. Chhattisgarh have lost all their matches, with their bowling having disappointed all competition. Their batting had started well, but collapsed in their third game after being skittled out for 90 vs Baroda. Whilst Uttarakhand have been less than impressive themselves, losing by ten wickets in their last fixture, much will rely on their opener Jay Bista who has shown some form with the bat. If Bista can get his side off to a good start in their innings whether it be setting or chasing a target, then Uttarakhand may just edge what should be a close contest.
