THE PREDICTION
Bengal could barely have been more impressive as they hammered Odisha in their opening Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy clash and they will look to build on that superb showing as they take on Jharkhand. Ishan Porel took 4-26 as Bengal skittled Odisha for just 113 and they lost just one wicket in reply as they comfortably reached their target with over seven overs of their chase to spare. Vivek Singh notched 54* from 35 and he will be eager to carry on where he left off in this clash. This looks like a tough task for Jharkhand who were on the end of a big loss to Tamil Nadu in their first game. They allowed 189 runs to be scored against them before falling 66 runs short in their chase and with Bengal highlighting their class with both bat and ball in their opening contest, they should be able to condemn Jharkhand to a second straight loss.
