Middlesex’s exciting bowling attack on paper was at it’s devastating best against Glamorgan last time out, rolling them over twice to secure an innings victory. Shaheen Shah Afridi especially, is a class above Division Two and both he and his fellow Middlesex bowlers are expected to be afforded plenty of joy once again here against Leicestershire. The Foxes may well offer more fight, especially under head coach Paul Nixon, but it’s hard to see them accruing enough runs across their two innings at Lord’s against a bowling unit of such quality. Therefore, back the hosts to come out on top.
