THE PREDICTION
After their miserable T20 World Cup campaign last year, Netherlands will be desperate to reach this year’s tournament and put that right this time round. Although Papua New Guinea lost all their T20 World Cup fixtures in 2021, just reaching the competition for the first time in their history was a huge triumph and yet are not to be underestimated. However, Netherlands are coming off the back of playing a number of ODIs against the likes of West Indies and England which will stand them in good stead for these global qualifiers despite the different format, even if the results didn’t go their way.
