THE PREDICTION
The Sunrisers come into this game knowing that nothing short of a win will suffice if they are to be in with a chance of reaching the knockout phase. They have a good net run rate so that is an advantage for them if they do pull off the unlikely feat though they will be full of confidence after they hammered the Delhi Capitals by 88 runs last time out. They made the controversial decision to leave out Jonny Bairstow to retain Jason Holder and Kane Williamson in the side and it paid off although Rashid Khan was the undoubted star with his stunning figures of 3/7 from his four overs. They know they no margin for error against Royal Challengers Bangalore who themselves can clinch a play-off spot with a win and knock the Sunrisers out. They brought back talented young Australian wicketkeeper/batsman Josh Philippe last time out and he looked much more comfortable than he did compared to his earlier stint in the side and he should keep his place at the top of the order. They also brought Dale Steyn back in against Mumbai but that did not pay off so Moeen Ali or Isuru Udana could come back into the line-up here. This is a particularly tough one to call but the marginal edge goes with RCB who have played at a higher level consistently in the tournament so far.
