THE PREDICTION
Chennai Super Kings have now lost their last three matches as they are struggling badly in run chases and are simply leaving themselves with too much to do. Too many of their batsmen are out of form right now with Shane Watson and Kedar Jadhav in particularly poor form. They seem unlikely to change things around but it is costing them so they will have to hope those players can play themselves into some form. The bowling unit is also struggling and it would be no surprise to see Imran Tahir come into the side to try spark a reaction. They come up against Kings XI Punjab here who are the only other team to sit on two points with CSK. Their three defeats have come in narrow or unfortunate circumstances however and they could easily have won a couple of those. They may make a tweak to add Mujeeb or Chris Jordan in place of Jimmy Neesham and the English bowler is most likely given his batting ability. They seem very close to a winning formula however, unlike CSK, and they have to be favoured to get the win in Dubai and compound MS Dhoni’s miseries.
