THE LOWDOWN
PAKISTAN
- Pakistan were comprehensively trounced by England in the third T20i as their bowlers were put to the sword by the tourists, leaving just too much for their star batters to overcome this time.
- Shan Masood impressed with 65 not out batting at number 4, albeit in a futile effort and Pakistan can take heart from this with it being so important that they have depth beyond the likes of Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam.
ENGLAND
- England will be absolutely delighted with how a number of their fringe batters put their hands up and showed what they could do on Friday and the depth of their side on that front has never been so strong in T20 cricket.
- Harry Brook continues to impress and he scored a brilliant 81 not from just 35 balls, whilst Ben Duckett blasted an unbeaten 70 and Will Jacks struck 40 at the top of the order, all players who wouldn’t normally play should England have a fully-fit squad at their disposal.
THE PREDICTION
For the entirety of this series so far, England’s batters have put Pakistan to the sword. Whilst it took a super effort from Rizwan and Babar to prevail in the second T20i, England have otherwise dominated and are expected to be afforded more joy this time round. Their middle order has proven far more destructive than Pakistan and it would be no surprise if this proved the difference once again here. Therefore, back England to extend their lead in this series.
