- Netherlands have named a 16-man squad for this Super League series which will see the side led by acting head coach Ryan Cook who has picked his strongest possible side combining a mixture of experience and up-and-coming players.

Despite home advantage being in their favour, it’s difficult to see the Netherlands pulling off what would be considered a big upset here. They are still very much a team in transition and won’t have the likes of Roelof van de Merwe and Paul van Meekeren to call upon here. Their batting doesn’t have the firepower to accrue a really big score on the board whether they be setting or chasing a total and provided the West Indies bat sensibly, avoiding any collapses then the visitors should emerge triumphant in this first match.
