Delhi Capitals meet Sunrisers Hyderabad on the sluggish Chennai tracks with plenty of confidence after their comprehensive win over Mumbai Indians. That win after losing to their rivals in all four meetings last year will give them a major lift as they come into this clash with the Sunrisers. David Warner’s men snapped their opening three-game losing streak last time out with a win over Punjab Kings and that will give them a lift. They have decided to bring Kane Williamson into the side and add some much-needed depth to their batting while relying on their talented local bowling attack and Rashid Khan. They still look a little light overall and will not by helped if Bhuvneshwar Kumar does not pass fit to play here but their team may arguably be more suited to the track in Chennai than the Capitals. That said, form and overall quality in certainly in favour of the Delhi outfit and they have to be favoured to get the win here.
